When did Dahl write the poem Television?

I cannot find any any reliable source to confirm the year. But the subtle hints I get from various sources indicate that the poem was written in the mid 1960s.

The poem is in the book “Charlie and and Chocolate Factory” published in 1964. Chapter 27: “Mike Teavee is Sent by Television”.
